Welcome to the financial modelling wiki!
This is a free financial modelling resource that anyone can edit. Dive in!
Why does this exist? It looks like Wikipedia
This website looks a bit like Wikipedia because it uses MediaWiki. We wanted to take a lot of cues from Wikipedia so we inherited their policies and guidelines, with the only exceptions described immediately below.
There are two ways that we intentionally differ from Wikipedia:
- We are focused on financial modelling. Wikipedia's notability guidelines do not apply here - instead we only require that articles relate to financial modelling.
- We allow original research. Wikipedia's 'no original research' policy does not apply here. For the avoidance of doubt, Wikipedia's copyright policy and plagiarism guideline do apply here.
Where to start
This wiki has just been created. Start by creating pages and populating them, and improving existing pages! You can create a new page by entering the title into the search box (top right corner) and clicking the red link that appears.
