This looks like Wikipedia - why does this exist?
Yes, this website looks a bit like Wikipedia because it uses MediaWiki. We also want to take a lot of cues from Wikipedia so we have inheriting their policies and guidelines, with the only exceptions described immediately below.
There are two ways that we intentionally differ from Wikipedia:
- We are focused on financial modelling. Wikipedia's notability guidelines do not apply here.
- We allow original research. Wikipedia's 'no original research' policy does not apply here. For the avoidance of doubt, Wikipedia's copyright policy and plagiarism guideline do apply here.
