Why does this exist? It looks like Wikipedia
This website is focused on financial modeling and it is not an encyclopedia. We do take a lot of cues from Wikipedia.
Specifically:
- This wiki uses MediaWiki software.
- We inherit all of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, with the only exceptions described in the immediately following points.
- Wikipedia's notability guidelines do not apply here - instead we only require that articles relate to financial modelling.
- Wikipedia's 'no original research' policy does not apply here. As this is not an encyclopedia, you do not have to find an external source before sharing information. For the avoidance of doubt, Wikipedia's copyright policy and plagiarism guideline do apply here.
Where to start
This wiki has just been created. Start by creating pages and populating them, and improving existing pages! You can create a new page by entering the title into the search box (top right corner) and clicking the red link that appears.
